Purpose of this page

↳ Plain English

This is where we list the small print everyone deserves to be able to find. None of it is hidden in fine grey type at the bottom of an unrelated page.

This page brings into one place the disclosures required by FTC guidance, the consumer-protection statutes of various US states, the EU Unfair Commercial Practices Directive, and ordinary good practice.

Performance metrics on the Site are illustrative

The headline numbers — 6.4× ROAS, $42.8M run-rate, $1.84 EPC, 91% approval, +318% growth, $38 CPL, $284 CAC, etc. — are illustrative figures, not a promise of what you will see.

Figures presented across the Site, including but not limited to the hero metric rail, the channel rack, case-card statistics, and outcome strips on the Services page, are illustrative. They may reflect:

  • anonymised, blended results across a portfolio of historical engagements;
  • publicly available industry benchmarks (Search Engine Land Q4 2024 reports, Statista vertical CPA studies, IAB Internet Advertising Revenue Report);
  • modelled scenarios using ranges we have observed; or
  • a combination of the above.

Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. Specific outcomes depend on factors outside our control — including offer fit, audience size, market saturation, platform-policy posture, creative strength, and macroeconomic conditions. Any number presented as a goal, projection, or expectation should be read as the agency's best-faith estimate based on current knowledge, not a guarantee.

Case examples

↳ Plain English

The four case cards on the home page are anonymised composites or anonymised single engagements. We can reference real clients on request, under NDA, with their written permission.

Case examples — "D2C supplement brand", "Auto-insurance lead gen", and "B2B SaaS · vertical CRM" — are presented in anonymised form because the underlying clients hold us to confidentiality on the specifics of their unit economics. We will provide reference calls under a mutual NDA on request, subject to the client's permission.

Where a case card lists multiple results, the most prominent figure represents the headline outcome agreed with the client; the supporting figures are the most representative associated metric we can disclose without identifying the client.

Testimonials and endorsements

↳ Plain English

The quotes on our home page are from real client engagements, used with written permission, not paid for, and not edited for meaning. Companies are referenced by category because commercial terms are confidential.

For every testimonial published on the Site we commit to:

  • only publish endorsements from clients who have actually used our services;
  • identify the speaker by name and role unless they have asked for anonymity;
  • reference the client company by industry or category where commercial terms are under non-disclosure;
  • disclose any material connection that is not obvious from context, as required by the FTC Endorsement Guides (16 C.F.R. Part 255);
  • not pay for endorsements, and not edit them in a way that changes their meaning;
  • remove or update any endorsement that no longer reflects the speaker's current view.

FTC endorsement and advertising guides

SIERRA OAK LLC operates in line with the FTC Endorsement Guides (16 C.F.R. Part 255), as revised in 2023. In summary:

  • Material connections between an advertiser and an endorser are disclosed clearly and conspicuously.
  • "Clearly and conspicuously" means at the start of the relevant content, not buried in a hashtag or a bio link.
  • Performance claims are substantiated before they are used.
  • Fake reviews, paid-without-disclosure reviews, and review suppression are prohibited.

If you see any creative we have produced that does not meet this bar, please email desk@sierraoakaffiliate.com with "FTC review" in the subject line; we will investigate and remediate.

Third-party trademarks

We name the platforms we work on (Google, Meta, TikTok, Everflow, etc.) so you know what we do. They have not endorsed us.

Names and logos of third-party platforms — including Google, Meta (Facebook, Instagram), TikTok, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Reddit, Pinterest, Snap, The Trade Desk, DV360, Taboola, Outbrain, MGID, RevContent, Everflow, Impact, TUNE, Tipalti, BigQuery, Looker, Adform, Unbounce, Webflow, Typeform, Convertri, Figma, Adobe After Effects, VWO, GrowthBook, Slack — are the property of their respective owners. They are referenced descriptively to explain the tools and channels we operate.

SIERRA OAK LLC is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or certified by any of these third parties unless we have explicitly stated a current partnership or certification in writing.

Forward-looking statements

Statements about future plans, future performance, expected market behaviour, or expected results constitute "forward-looking statements." They are subject to risks and uncertainties — including macroeconomic conditions, regulatory change, platform-policy change, technology change, and ordinary execution risk — that could cause actual results to differ materially. We undertake no obligation to update any forward-looking statement.

Not a solicitation in restricted jurisdictions

The Site is published from the United States. Material on it does not constitute an offer of services in any jurisdiction in which such an offer would require a licence we do not hold, would be prohibited by law, or would expose SIERRA OAK LLC to regulation by a jurisdiction other than the United States. Modern slavery, anti-bribery, and supply-chain integrity

SIERRA OAK LLC has zero tolerance for modern slavery, human trafficking, child labour, forced labour, bribery, kickbacks, or facilitation payments. We expect the same of every vendor, partner, affiliate, and contractor. Where we engage a third party that materially exposes us to these risks, we require contractual representations and the right to audit. Reports of suspected violations should go to desk@sierraoakaffiliate.com with subject "Integrity report."
